One more perspective, its OK to have a little higher expense ratio if the alpha is exceeding expectations. It takes a lot of research and pain to create alpha so just because expense ratio is high don't avoid investing in good funds.

@chandanshukla4897 my friend, SIP is a tool used for long term Compounding. When you do SIP, there should be only one idea in mind - "long term Compounding", nothing more. Sector play is totally different game, and it's for short term moves. They both are different perspectives. ...

@ranjanjibbs I am not sure my friend. I never searched for it because I do my research myself. But you may search on YouTube "sector rotation", it may give you some suggestions.

@ranjanjibbs well that is a very tedious data analysis. Data is received from exchange and then it is processed. It is a leading technique to know which sector is Leading, Lagging, Weakning, and Improving. This is how fund managers allocate their assets in mutual fund house. Offc...

@shaswat4940 in that case, do not do anything beyond 3K SWP, or else even in the long run erosion will be high. Take help of good Financial Advisor before execution.

@shaswat4940 the data you have provided isn't enough. Will this SWP be required immediately or after few years, if yes how after how many years?
Secondly, 13K SWP from a 5L corpus is not advisable, because the rate of erosion is much faster. This means by end of 3 years, from th...

@gurkiratsingh2655 true indeed, but unfortunately client relation is just a 10% of the matter. Rest 90% is portfolio creation and execution. And I am pretty much sure, even if everything is excellent with you, still if his another portfolio is running somewhere else, and fetching...

@gurkiratsingh2655 As per SEBI's guidelines only the employees of AMC are not permitted to have a distributor code. But there are no guidelines not to avail ARN code as an individual as an employee of Wealth management company. But believe me just having an ARN code is not suffic...

@madhur4444 There is a little twist in here. Going for high risk within 6 month's time frame in mutual fund can be considered gambling. Investments are to be processed in a systematic approach. When you have a lump-sum to be invested, at present scenario, stay at the bay and try ...

@kshitij09 In mutual fund there is nothing like good or bad fund. Basically when AMC (fund house who created funds) launches a NFO, the guidelines are already mentioned. So they are just like a pharma company(AMC) making medicines(Funds). So every medicine is made with a purpose ...
