The accident stretch in front of Trinity Acres and Woods

The incident occurred in front of Trinity Acres and Woods near Iblur junction on Sarjapur Main Road, about a kilometre from the HSR police station. Kushal (26 years), a resident of the apartment is now in the ICU ward of Columbia Asia Hospital. According to eye witness Kulbushan (27) who filed the First Information Report (FIR) with the police, he and his four friends had taken a cab at Koramangala and were dropped on the opposite side of their apartment, which turned out to be their fatal mistake.

They walked up from Drops liquor store towards O2 spa in front of Trinity Acres. Instead of crossing the road together, Kushal decided to cross the road first... He had almost reached the other side of the road when an allegedly rash and speeding motorcycle rider (number TN-58-P-6924) on his left hand side hit him and fell on the road along with the victim. When blood oozed out of Kushal, the scared motorcyclist left his bike and ran away.

Kushal's friends immediately called an ambulance and shifted him to the hospital. Kushal was not able to talk and was immediately rushed to the ICU. "He's still critical and unconscious," said Kulbushan to Residents Watch. "He's in a coma. The motorcyclist came too fast."
