Unilever's turnover in Q2 up 14.9% to €29.6B
Unilever plc announced on Tuesday that its turnover in the second quarter of fiscal 2022 stood at €29.6 billion, increasing 14.9% compared to the same trimester in 2021.
Underlying sales growth in the second trimester stood at 8.1%, while the quarterly dividend was unchanged at €0.4268 per share.
"The challenges of inflation persist and the global macroeconomic outlook is uncertain, but we remain intensely focused on operational excellence and delivery in 2022 and beyond," CEO Alan Jope noted. In addition, the company stated that it now expects the guidance for underlying sales growth in 2022 to go beyond the range of 4.5% to 6.5% previously estimated.
