You can go for liquid funds which have very low exit load and no lock in period. Moreover, they offer better returns than savings. Quant, Axis and UTI have some good schemes under this category.

Both CR and Quant are heavy on equity allocation and have almost zero allocation to debt instruments but PP has more than 20% allocation to debt products. This makes it very less volatile. St Dev of PP is almost 12.8. While that of CR is ~15 and that of Quant is touching 20.

While Groww and Paytm money started as mutual fund apps, they both are brokerages now. If we consider Mutual fund-specific features and don’t foresee direct stock investments or if you would like to hold your investments in Non-Demat/SOA/Folio format, I would recommend Kuvera.

Selection of funds for long term totally depends on investor profile. This can be studied by looking at investment objective, investment horizon and risk tolerance of the investor.

@maninigupta27 yes, a great source to gain advantage of lower volatility of debt and higher returns of equity as an asset class. Plus, the dynamic asset allocation gives the fund manager more leverage to change the strategy as per market conditions.
