I would wait a bit more, as the adaptability of cinema content is something I am still unsure of. The kind of reception the majority of the movies have been getting lately would impact the revenue of PVR, or any theatre business.

@iamfuturebillionaire Nifty bees is something I am planning to start investing in, after some time. It is your classic top 50 nifty companies. The ETF investing everyone talks about, as a great option to build long term wealth.

I use goldbees for hedging my equity portfolio. I usually keep it as 5-10% of my equity portfolio. Goldbees captures the movement on gold, so for me it is a good instrument.

Hi, you should start by learning about different avenues of equity investing(stocks, etf, mutual funds). Each requires a different level of knowledge and research and has a different type of return. Pick what suits you and start from there.

Don’t you think this level of diversification will affect your overall returns? Like the chances of exponential returns would reduce

@DhruvMan I do a monthly SIP on this portfolio, with a slight twist. The amount remains constant, but in which stocks I invest in changes as per external factors(avg buy price, news on stock, etc.). I expect this portfolio to grow at 15% CAGR over a long period of time.

Curious to know, how often should I rebalance my portfolio? Is the rebalancing period same for all people?

@heer1104 In my opinion, penny stocks should not be your focus, as a beginner, focus on building a solid blue chip(big stocks) portfolio and slowly expand outward to mid/small cap options.

My pick for the year is Varun beverages, because they got the packaging contract for kurkure and puffcorn, on top of the bottling contract for Pepsi. Given how dense and young our population is, and these items are very popular with the youth. This is a multibagger in my opinion!

Hi, I'm bullish on the tech industry overall, as we are seeing tech adoption increase over a period of time. I invest in "ITBEES" for tech/IT exposure. The ETF providers ensure the rebalancing happens regularly and only good-performing stocks are kept in the basket.

This is how I started:
1. I first got familiarised with the terms used in financial statements, specifically in the context of reports. I understood deeply about valuation ratios as well.
2. I then understood the value of analyzing particular industries. This helps in giving an u...
