• In United Spirits Diageo group (leader in alcohol brands in international market) has the promotor holding of 55.94%. Because of which United Sprits get the benefit of technical know-how, technology transfer and benefit for strong brand presence in the international market. Diageo group also helps United Spirits in R&D process, sensory science etc.
• P&A (Prestige and Above) segment accounts for 75% and Popular segment account for 25% of the United Spirits revenue. P&A have higher margin than the popular segment because of the brand image of the product.
• P&A category has brand such as Johnnie Walker, Black Dog, Capital Morgan etc. which contributing ~69.8% in sales.
