Lupin has got USFDA approval for the generic version of Merck's Diprolene (Betamethasone Dipropionate) ointment, 0.05% in US. The drug, a corticosteroid indicated for relief from certain skin conditions, had annual sales of ~US$22 million in the US (IQVIA MAT September 2019). The drug will be manufactured from company's Pithampur (Unit 3) facility
