ā¢ Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has accused IndiGo of violating the Model Code of Conduct by making an announcement on two flights that praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then immediately encouraged passengers to vote in upcoming state elections.
ā¢ Ramesh pointed out that there was no mention of the Election Commission in the vote appeal announcement, which he said was a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
ā¢ Elections are taking place in five states and their results will be declared on December 3.
