Over 76,000 passengers were affected by flight cancellations or delays of more than two hours by IndiGo and Air India in September, according to data from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). IndiGo accounted for 63.4% of total traffic, with 50,945 passengers affected by cancellations and 25,667 by delays.
