#INDIGO wants to go Global ✈️✈️

Indigo, India’s largest airline is looking to tap international routes for passenger and cargo operations as part of its growth/recovery strategy.

Few statistics leading to this decision:

➡️ Faster recovery and the airline witnessing robust demand. Present Indigo’s capacity is greater than pre-Covid levels and is witnessing a comeback.

➡️ For Cargo operations, the airline has placed freighters (Cargo planes) to focus on international cargo export. Cargo operations volumes have been increasing and is these carriers will help tap into new markets and service at a lower cost.

➡️ International bookings are currently at 25% and are expected to go up as the other industries are coming back to pre-Covid levels. Additionally, Indigo holds a Code-sharing agreement that helps in passenger connectivity.

Can this strategy help in Indigo’s Recovery? What do you think?
