ITC board declared a final dividend ๐Ÿ’ฐ of Rs.6.25 per share for the financial year 2021-22.
(Kindly note this is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 5.25 which was declared in February)

๐ŸŒŸ ITC Q4 results: Net Profits up by 12% to Rs.4195 Cr ๐ŸŒŸ

โง One of the major players in the FMCG segment ๐Ÿช ITC posted a jump of 3.4 % in net profit on a sequential basis after the previous October-December quarter.
โง Revenue generated from the cigarette business ๐Ÿšฌ grew by 9.96% while the non-cigarette business grew by 12.32%.
โง The stock posted an outstanding 35.29% jump in revenue and 29.60% in the Agri-business segment.
โง Results reflect the diversification of ITC in the various segment with significant growth.

Business-wise performance:
โงFMCG: ๐Ÿช
The business segment showed a growth of 12.9% in revenue to Rs.4149 Cr. EBITDA stood at 238.47 Cr compared to 183 Cr last year. Despite inflation EBITDA margins by the business were up by 75 by bps. The segment had 110 new product launches in the market.
โงCigarettes:๐Ÿšฌ
The segment had a growth of 10% YOY and 3% on a sequential basis.
Volumes for the business are now in line with the pre-pandemic levels.
โงAgri-business:๐Ÿšœ
Revenue from the segment jumped to 29% YOY and 15% on a sequential basis.
leaf Tobacco, wheat, and rice exports were the key drivers
โงHotels:๐Ÿจ
Revenue jumped by 35% YOY but declined by 18% on a sequential basis because of the Omicron wave.
The business had loss of Rs.29 Cr compared to 40 Cr in the previous year.
โงPaper and packaging:๐Ÿ“‹
The segment showed a stellar performance with revenue up by 32% YOY and 7% on a sequential basis.
Volumes for the business segment were at a record high due to a revival in the demand.๐Ÿ“ˆ

ITC posted good results with an increase in the cash generation from its operations.

Technical:๐Ÿ“ˆ
- ITC has a good chart structure with moving above 50 DMA levels
- In the chart, a flag and pole pattern can be seen, moving above the same with momentum may give a quick upside momentum for the stock.
- Highest open interest on the call side is currently at the strike price of 270. Hence it is highly possible that breaking these levels will lead to a short-covering rally. While on the put side High open interests are at 250 and 260 strike prices.
- RSI also nearing to a good entry level of 60, Hence a long trade can be initiated in the stock with strict stop loss considering the post result volatility.
Buy: ITC only above 268
Stop Loss: 255.6
Target 1: 277.55
