Unilever's turnover in H1 at €30.4B
Unilever plc announced on Tuesday in a press release that the turnover in the first half of fiscal 2023 reached €30.4 billion, rising 2.7% year over year. For the same period, underlying sales growth stood at 9.1%. In the second trimester, turnover landed at $15.7 billion, down 0.4% compared to the same quarter in 2022.
In the first six months, on an annual level, operating profit soared 22.6%, coming in at €5.5 billion, while diluted earnings per share surged 23.6%, amounting to €1.40. Net profit in the reported period stood at €3.9 billion, a 20.7% growth compared to the same timeframe a year ago.
