Hey I'm also a college student and I usually make profits by swing trading as i don't have any primary source of income stream it's better to use this strategy as it's risk to reward is fairly good and most importantly your capital remains safe

I believe the time frame you will be using should totally depend on your trading style and strategy,if you are a Swing or positional trader then use bigger time frame charts and vice versa
U seem a bit late in bringing this most of the people are already aware of this during the last trading session.
I would recommend that you should try swing trading as it produces decent to avg amount of returns plus you also bear the minimum risk so you can definitely trade with ₹4k capital

Firstly make sure you're not choosing a penny stock and to be safe go with stocks which show medium to High volatility with the respective index and most importantly stay updated with all the latest news so that u don't miss any new opportunities
If you know little about the market first go and get some knowledge and then start swing trading with small cap with optimal risk assessment
