Paper trading and real trading are different because emotions are involved in real trading. Start with a fixed corpus. Ensure to trade not with profit in mind but on the risk involved. This means that you need to enter a trade only if the risk amount is acceptable to you.
Shift your investments from small cap to debt funds till stabilization of market.
Presently Index funds are down, as market sentiments overall is in the downward trend. Invest in Debt funds till market stabilizes or at least for next 6 months.
