@mahirkhanna you may be trading on the wrong time frame then, i do intraday and best timeframe is 15 or 30 minutes for your strategy formation and then switch to 5 minute timeframe for entry and exit . And one piece of advice from me is don't just blindly trust the chart patterns...

I think journaling is a good thing to do , you make a note of your trades, your mistakes, and things you have to improve, many youtubers and professional traders do journaling, i am not a professional but still it's always better to learn from mistakes
I think you should try paper trading first and do not use real money for at least 1 year, meanwhile develop your skills , and then choose what is appropriate for you
