Stock is in strong downtrend. If 400-390 level is breached, 330 levels are easily open for this stock. 
Even if it reverses, buying price of 798 will take a long time to touch.

Recommendation: 
If holding, DO NOT AVERAGE. Instead, invest the additional capital in some good stock...

Investment near all time high in any stock is not recommended.

Speaking specifically about INFY, 1720-1760 is a normal support level (not strong).
Below 1720, next strong support level appears near 1570 level.
