If you want to do only trading you have to get deep knowledge regarding futures and options. By trading in only equities you can't grow a trading career. You should know everything about futures and options to build a successful career. Also you should have enough money to trade.

As a retail investor
Only 1 lot can be attained even if you bid for 100 lots.
So the best way to increase your chance of ipo allotment is to bid for 1 lot with as many demat accounts as possible
