Mumbai: Amid key bulk deals on Thursday, promoter Orient Silk Mills lapped up more shares of textile company Himatsingka Seide, while another promoter Bihar Mercantile Union cut its stake in the company. Small and microcap companies dominated bulk deals in the day’s trade.
Of the frontline indices, Sensex shed 0.2 per cent to 39,991 points, while Nifty dropped 0.1 per cent to 11,527 points.
