Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.23 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.07 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 6.10 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 5.96 crore), Campus Activewear Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.88 crore), Power Grid(numbers of share traded: 4.06 crore), Adani Power(numbers of share traded: 4.05 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.85 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.83 crore) and GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 3.60 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 109.4 points down at 16301.85, while BSE Sensex ended down 364.91 points at 54470.67.

On the other hand, Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 3.91 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.89 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.81 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.75 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
