Zee Ent. shares gain 1.17% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 263.7 on BSE at 10:20AM (IST) on Monday, up 1.17 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 200.5 and a high of Rs 378.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 36.15 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 7.29 per share and 2.55 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 322,890 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:20AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 25309.69 crore and is part of the TV Broadcasting & Software Production industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 28.95 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 9.54 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 264.2 and Rs 260.25.

Promoters held 0.22 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2022. FII and MF ownership in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. stood at 39.18 per cent and 21.42 per cent, respectively.
