Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 859.19 crore), RIL(Rs. 738.93 crore), HDFC(Rs. 448.03 crore), Infosys(Rs. 444.33 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(Rs. 395.37 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 389.81 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 366.71 crore), HCL Tech(Rs. 363.24 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 338.94 crore) and SBI(Rs. 316.23 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:27AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 103.3 points up at 18156.6, while BSE Sensex was up 386.76 points at 61042.48 as of 11:27AM(IST)on January 18.

In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.58 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent) were among the top losers.
