Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Apollo Sindoori, Rites, Maks Energy Solutions India Ltd., Bombay Super Hybrid and Mask Investments, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:09AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 123.0 points to 16981.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Dhanvarsha Finvest, Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., MEP Infrastructure, FutureLifestyleFash and Ishan International Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 7 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, ONGC, Tata Steel, Tata Motors and ITC were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, TCS and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 400.97 points up at 56999.25 at 10:09AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Industrial Equipment, Metals - Non Ferrous and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was visible in Defence, Metals - Ferrous, NBFC, Miscellaneous and IT Enabled Services sectors.
