Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 61.67 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 14.72 crore), PNB(Rs. 12.84 crore), Asian Paints(Rs. 12.78 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 11.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 9.83 crore), PayTM(Rs. 9.70 crore), Coal India Ltd(Rs. 9.34 crore), RIL(Rs. 9.14 crore) and HUL(Rs. 8.83 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 21.35 points up at 18129.2, while BSE Sensex was up 69.07 points at 60927.5 as of 10:19AM(IST)on January 20.

In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 2.03 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.16 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.06 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 3.08 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) and Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) were among the top losers.
