AgenciesNEW DELHI: IndusInd Bank(Rs. 526.31 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 414.65 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 349.04 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 346.72 crore), Rashtriya Chemicals(Rs. 312.72 crore), RIL(Rs. 295.03 crore), HDFC Life(Rs. 294.95 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 294.33 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 275.75 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 275.74 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:01AM in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 97.55 points down at 18135.0, while BSE Sensex was down 324.62 points at 60969.58 as of 11:01AM(IST)on January 04.
In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.81 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.60 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.44 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.77 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent) were among the top losers.
