    Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

    NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 6002.48 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 3522.54 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2948.91 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 2789.94 crore), RIL(Rs. 2352.09 crore), SBI(Rs. 2190.68 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1839.97 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 1565.14 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1484.13 crore) and Bajaj Finance(Rs. 1465.73 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 44.6 points up at 17648.95, while BSE Sensex rose 169.51 points to 59500.41.

    In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.76 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.53 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.56 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 3.38 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.72 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.43 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.17 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
