Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 376.50 crore), PNB(Rs. 350.24 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 315.83 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 262.47 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 253.73 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 252.84 crore), HDFC(Rs. 236.99 crore), Infosys(Rs. 227.02 crore), RIL(Rs. 216.49 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 214.53 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 20.6 points down at 18178.5, while BSE Sensex was down 56.99 points at 61010.25 as of 10:14AM(IST)on December 22.

In the Nifty index, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.91 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 0.66 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers.
