Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Gujarat Fluorochem, Himadri Speciality, PC Jeweller, Shalimar Paints and Sumitomo Chemical, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:24AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 64.6 points to 16156.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Arshiya, Parsvnath Dev., Suumaya Lifestyle, Bombay Rayon and Vikas Proppant & Gr, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 28 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, ONGC, Dr. Reddys, Coal India Ltd and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while TCS, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, Infosys and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 249.92 points down at 54231.92 at 10:24AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Power, Electric/Electronics, Rubber, Learning & Education and Industrial Consumables sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Auto Ancillaries and IT Software sectors.
