Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 19.35 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 17.97 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.74 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.67 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 6.99 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Su(numbers of share traded: 4.87 crore), GMR Infra(numbers of share traded: 4.52 crore), ONGC(numbers of share traded: 4.33 crore) and Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.11 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 99.3 points up at 18598.65, while BSE Sensex ended up 344.69 points at 62846.38.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.90 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
