Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 09:59AM

Sikko Industries(up 7.28%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 3.87%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 3.06%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 2.90%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.71%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.48%), KRISHANA(up 2.31%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.31%), G S F C(up 2.20%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.16%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 4.15%) and Aries Agro(down 1.46%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 121.1 points up at 16291.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 393.42 points at 54645.95 at around 09:59AM.

Bajaj Finance(up 3.87%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.67%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.4%), HCL Technologies(up 2.31%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.17%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.16%), Tata Motors(up 2.1%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.86%), Grasim Industries(up 1.79%) and Hindalco Industries(up 1.77%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.88%), Asian Paints(down 1.61%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 1.39%), NTPC(down 1.3%), Britannia Industries(down 1.01%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.97%), Nestle India(down 0.47%), Reliance Industries(down 0.43%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.09%) and Titan Company Ltd(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
