Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 526.69 points up at 53254.67 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Milestone Furniture(down 16.18 per cent), Tricom Fruit(down 10.00 per cent), Minaxi Textiles(down 10.00 per cent), Aditya Ispat(down 9.57 per cent) and Active Clothing Co(down 9.51 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 164.15 points up at 15863.4.

On the BSE, Anubhav Infrastructu, A & M Febcon, Dhani Ibull Ventures, Star Health and Seacoast Shipping hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kallam Textiles, Gensol Engg, Sumedha Fiscal, Marathon Nextgen and Sterling Tools touched their fresh 52-week highs.
