Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aether Industries Ltd., Automotive Axle, Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Globe Intl. Carriers and Khandwala Sec, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 107.6 points to 16735.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Medico Remedies, Debock Sales & Mktg, Future Retail, Shree Cements and Future Enterprises, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 20 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro and L&T were among top gainers, while Grasim Inds., Shree Cements, UltraTech Cem., Apollo Hospital and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 470.0 points up at 56288.11 at 11:10AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Construction, IT Enabled Services and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Cement sectors.
