Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mold Tek Tech, Hisar Metal Ind, Chembond Chem, GRP Ltd and Atul Auto, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 57.5 points down at 18107.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Nureca Ltd., GTPL Hathway, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd. and Chaman Metallics Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, UPL, ONGC, BPCL and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Asian Paints, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank and Kotak Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 187.31 points down at 60858.43.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, Mining, Retail, Cables and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Textiles, Trading, Electric/Electronics and Auto Ancillaries sectors during the day.
