Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.18% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:25AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 2.68 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.54 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.53 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.2 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.23 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.73 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.51 per cent) and DLF(down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.18 per cent at 407.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 4.75 points at 16527.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 91.53 points at 55472.7.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, Adani Power, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd. and Shree Ren Sug were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Raymond, Fine Organic Ind., CreditAccess Grameen, HBL Power and Standard Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Medico Remedies, Future Retail, Moksh Ornaments Ltd., Future Enterprises and Precision Metaliks Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
