Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vesuvius India, Bohra Industries, Linc Pen Plast, Shreyans Ind and Gabriel India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 28.25 points to 18300.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Sumeet Ind, Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd., CMM Infraprojects Ltd., Intrasoft Tech and Globus Spirits, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 21 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Hero MotoCorp, UltraTech Cem., Adani Ports SEZ and ICICI Bank were among top gainers, while Coal India Ltd, Grasim Inds., ITC, Kotak Bank and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 110.83 points down at 61513.32 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in IT - Hardware, Metals - Non Ferrous, Shipping, Industrial Equipment and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, NBFC, Services, Glass and Miscellaneous sectors.
