Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.46% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:04AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills(up 1.14 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.75 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.15 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 2.11 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.59 per cent), DLF(down 0.69 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.49 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.46 per cent at 457.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 4.45 points at 17952.05, while the BSE Sensex was down 5.29 points at 60292.71.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, IIFL Finance, Vodafone Idea and TV18 Broadcast were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Sumit Woods, Tainwala Chem, Indo Amines, AMD Industries and Titagarh Wagons hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Future Enterprises, D K Enterprises Global Ltd., Tijaria Polypip and Vipul Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
