Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 980.93 points down at 59845.29 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Lancer Container Lin(down 20.00 per cent), Goodluck India (down 19.81 per cent), Dev Information Tech(down 17.69 per cent), Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd.(down 16.34 per cent) and Bedmutha Ind(down 15.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 1 stocks closed in the green, while 48 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 320.55 points down at 17806.8.
On the BSE, Goldstone Tech, V2 Retail Ltd, MFL India, La Tim Metal & Indu and Megasoft hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Escorp Asset Manage, Paramone Concepts, Ind Link Chain, Abirami Fin Svc and SVP Housing touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
