Share market update: Realty shares rise; DLF jumps nearly 7%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher in Friday's session.

Shares of DLF (up 6.7 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (up 4.74 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.64 per cent) , Godrej Properties (up 4.52 per cent) , SOBHA (up 2.62 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 2.22 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 1.89 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 1.55 per cent) , Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 1.3 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 4.2 per cent up at 208.55 around 12:13PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 115.40 points at 10207.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 381.31 points at 34589.36.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, BHEL, SBI, L&T Fin Holding, IDFC First Bank Ltd., Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
