Share market update: Realty stocks advance; Indiabulls Real Estate jumps 7%

NEW DELHI: Realty stocks were trading higher in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 6.77 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 4.4 per cent), DLF (up 4.3 per cent), Sobha (up 2.0 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 1.73 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Sunteck Realty (down 1.92 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.18 per cent up at 208.4 around 12:49PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 105.00 points at 11319.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 315.25 points at 38355.82.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, BEL, Tata Motors and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
