Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Ashiana Ispat(13.86%), IL&FS Invest(12.66%), Apollo Micro Systems(12.63%), Oswal Agro Mill(12.58%), Century Enka(11.22%), Elpro Intnl(10.64%), Modern Steels(10.61%) and Rane(Madras)(10.52%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 188.32 points down at 56409.96, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 40.5 points down at 16818.1.

In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks ended in the green, while 25 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Gujarat Hy-Spin, EP Biocomposites Ltd., G M Polyplast and Fruition Venture hit their fresh 52-week high, while GKP Printing & Pack, Gala Global Prod, Shubham Polyspin, FutureLifestyleFash and Vipul Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
