    NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 9.34 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.05 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.55 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.48 crore), Pro Fin Capital(numbers of share traded: 1.43 crore), Shalimar Prod(numbers of share traded: 1.42 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore), ARC Finance(numbers of share traded: 0.95 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 0.95 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 0.75 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 62.05 points up at 16340.55, while BSE Sensex ended up 246.47 points at 54767.62.

    On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.89 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
