Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 4.66 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 3.21 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.22 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 1.50 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 1.40 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.16 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.13 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 1.07 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 1.06 crore) and Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 1.00 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 68.5 points up at 18191.0, while BSE Sensex ended up 223.6 points at 61133.88.

On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
