Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of EIH, Royal Orchid, Omax Autos, GMM Pfaudler and Lokesh Machines, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 3.35 points up at 17539.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Kridhan Infra, FutureLifestyleFash, Future Retail, IMP Powers Ltd and CSL Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC, L&T and HDFC Bank were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Shree Cements, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 36.74 points up at 58803.33.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, Plastics, Infrastructure and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions, Gas & Petroleum and Petrochemicals sectors during the day.
