Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tree House Edu, Global Education, Time Technoplast, KPI Global Infra and Rolex Rings, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 121.85 points up at 16478.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Jagran Prakashan, Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Ltd., Vaxtex Cotfab, Akash Infra-Proj and Sadbhav Infra, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, BPCL, RIL, Eicher Motors and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Steel, Shree Cements, Tata Motors, Grasim Inds. and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 427.79 points up at 55320.28.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Logistics, Rubber and Retail sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
