    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 23.50 points, or 0.20 per cent higher at 11,532, in signs that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday. Here are a few stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    ONGC: State-run Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a 84.7 per cent decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June to Rs 1,090 crore, hit by lower crude price realization in the wake of Covid-19 fall out on global oil and gas industry as a direct consequence of adverse price movements in global crude prices, and lower gas prices.

    Coal India, Dish TV India: Infibeam Avenues, Jubilant Foodworks, Coal India, Dish TV India and Satin Creditcare Network are among companies that are scheduled to announce their June quarter earnings on Wednesday.

    Bank stocks: The Supreme Court would on Wednesday hear the issue of interest being charged by lenders on deferred EMIs of term loans following the lifting of the moratorium.

    Vodafone Idea: The company board on Friday will consider and evaluate proposals for raising of funds in one or more tranches by way of a public issue, preferential allotment, private placement or securities including securities convertible into equity shares.

    Max Healthcare: The company reported a loss of Rs 355 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, mainly on account of COVID-19 pandemic. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 9 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, Max Healthcare said in a regulatory filing.

    JSW Energy: The company board appointed Pritesh Vinay as its Chief Financial Officer. "Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, appointed Pritesh Vinay as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the company with effect from 16th September, 2020," a BSE filing said.

    Infosys: IT major Infosys said it will hire 12,000 American workers over the next two years, creating a 25,000 strong workforce in the U.S over five years, the company said on Tuesday.

    Zee Entertainment Enterprises: At a time when closure of movie theatres due to Covid-19 pandemic has forced many filmmakers to release their films directly on video streaming platforms, Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) has decided to launch a new film distribution service that will offer new film on DTH and OTT platforms.

    Hero MotoCorp: The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp % on Tuesday reported a 7.55 per cent increase in sales in August at 5,84,456 units as compared to the same month last year. The company had sold 5,43,406 units in August 2019, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.

    BPCL: Privatisation-bound BPCL's chairman and managing director D Rajkumar and director-refineries R Ramachandran superannuated after attaining the age of 60 years on August 31.Director-human resources K Padmakar, who is the senior director on the company board, will be given the additional charge of chairman and managing director..

    CG Power & Industrial Solutions: Finquest Financial Solutions sold 40,00,000 shares of CG Power & Industrial Solutions at Rs 23.80 per share. It held 1.63 per cent stake in the company at the end of June.

    Future Enterprises/Future Enterprises DVR: Snehil Mehta net sold 56,14,456 shares of Future Enterprises at Rs 20.05 per share. Vivek Saraogi sold 4,69,351 Future Enterprises DVR at Rs 22.72 each. He held 2.34 per cent of such DVRs at the end of June.

    Magma Fincorp: Magma Fincorp said its director NArayan Sheshadri had resigned from the board on Monday.
