Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:09AM

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.79%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 3.60%), Bohra Industries(up 2.22%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.81%), Sikko Industries(up 1.41%), National Fertilizer(up 1.27%), G S F C(up 1.18%), Aries Agro(up 1.14%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.96%) and Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.93%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 0.43%), KRISHANA(down 0.26%) and Coromandel International(down 0.25%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 34.15 points up at 18568.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 70.96 points at 62693.2 at around 10:09AM.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 3.96%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.58%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.89%), Asian Paints(up 1.61%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.48%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.24%), Eicher Motors(up 1.24%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.18%), Nestle India(up 1.01%) and Hindalco Industries(up 1.01%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Coal India(down 4.48%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 3.52%), Bharti Airtel(down 2.22%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.04%), UPL Ltd(down 0.77%), Britannia Industries(down 0.68%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.62%), SBI Life(down 0.58%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.54%) and Tata Motors(down 0.49%) were trading in the red.
