Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 13.23 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 11.28 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 6.09 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.16 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 4.74 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 3.88 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.80 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 3.78 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 3.42 crore) and SAIL(numbers of share traded: 2.79 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 80.2 points down at 18027.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 236.66 points at 60621.77.

On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 3.81 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.73 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
