    Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sumeet Ind(14.69%), Nelcast(13.38%), Piccadily Sugar(13.06%), Nitco(12.98%), Godavari Drugs(12.62%), Patel Integrat(11.98%), Genus Paper Boards(11.36%), Quint Digital Media(11.18%), Hybrid Financial Services Ltd.(10.0%) and Vista Pharma(10.0%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 103.9 points down at 61702.29, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 35.15 points down at 18385.3.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Aryaman Fin, Hybrid Financial Services Ltd., Yashraj Contain, Hardcastle Waud and Captain Pipes hit their fresh 52-week high, while Arshiya, Sintex Inds., G G Engineering, Global Longlife Hospital and Research Ltd. and Aarti Inds touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
