Share market update: Bank shares dip; RBL Bank slips 4%

NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading with losses in Thursday's session.

Shares of RBL BANK (down 4.32 per cent) , Bandhan Bank (down 4.06 per cent) , IndusInd Bank (down 3.78 per cent) , IDFCBANK (down 3.16 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 2.59 per cent) , Axis Bank (down 2.23 per cent) , Federal Bank (down 1.27 per cent) , HDFC Bank (down 0.85 per cent) , ICICI Bank (down 0.71 per cent) and State Bank of India (down 0.49 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Bank index was trading 1.52 per cent down at 20623.1 around 12:01PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 48.55 points at 10013.0, while the BSE Sensex was down 171.61 points at 33937.93.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Trident Ltd, PNB, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Ashok Leyland, Vedanta and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
