Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 10:19AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.07%), Sikko Industries(up 2.30%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.75%), KRISHANA(up 0.62%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.20%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.09%) and Coromandel International(up 0.09%) were among the top gainers.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.83%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.74%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.11%), National Fertilizer(down 1.70%), G S F C(down 1.45%), Aries Agro(down 1.33%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.18%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.99%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.81%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 0.72%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 96.05 points down at 18005.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 356.16 points at 60391.15 at around 10:19AM.

Tata Motors(up 6.06%), Tata Steel(up 1.49%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.43%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.11%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.86%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 0.83%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.66%), JSW Steel(up 0.55%) and Divis Laboratories(up 0.54%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy(down 2.14%), Eicher Motors(down 1.93%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.65%), Infosys(down 1.4%), HDFC Bank(down 1.33%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.32%), State Bank of India(down 1.25%), HDFC(down 1.11%), ITC(down 0.99%) and Tech Mahindra(down 0.96%) were trading in the red.
