    NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 54.97 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 35.64 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 22.67 crore), Excel Realty N Infr(numbers of share traded: 13.13 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.61 crore), Indian Hotels(numbers of share traded: 11.64 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 11.08 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 10.23 crore), HUDCO(numbers of share traded: 8.02 crore) and Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.52 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 140.3 points up at 18758.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 417.81 points at 63099.65.

    On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.00 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
